Meal idea: Lincolnshire Sausage Casserole with Butter Beans & Tomato Brown the sausages in a casserole dish until golden, then set aside. Soften a diced onion and two garlic cloves in the same pan, add a tin of chopped tomatoes, a tin of drained butter beans, a teaspoon of smoked paprika, and a splash of chicken stock. Return the sausages, cover, and simmer on a low heat for 30–35 minutes until rich and thick. Serve with crusty bread to mop up the sauce — a deeply warming one-pot supper.
