About us
This website, staffordshiremeats.co.uk, is operated by Staffordshire Traditional Meats & Bakehouse Ltd (company number 13550514), trading as Staffordshire Meats, of Spath Farm, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire ST14 5AP. You can contact us on 01889 568411 or at accounts@staffordshiremeats.co.uk. VAT registration number: GB476044189.
These terms apply to all orders placed through this website. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, where there has been an obvious pricing or product description error, or where we cannot verify payment. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
Because our meat is cut and prepared by hand, weights shown for butchered cuts are typical weights and the item you receive may vary slightly. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
Click and collect
Orders can be collected from the location you choose at checkout: Spath Farm, Uttoxeter ST14 5AP, or our Draycott in the Clay shop, Ashbourne DE6 5GZ. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, subject to shop opening hours. We will let you know when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation when collecting.
Our products are fresh and perishable. If you do not collect your order within 3 days of it being ready, we will try to contact you. Perishable items that remain uncollected after that time may have to be disposed of for food safety reasons, and we may not be able to offer a refund. If you know you cannot collect on time, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
Delivery
Nationwide delivery is coming soon. When it launches, delivery terms, areas and charges will be set out on our Delivery page and at checkout.
Product information and allergens
Product images are for illustration. Our food is handmade on site, so appearance may vary. Allergen information is available for every product. Please read our Allergen Information page and contact us before ordering if you have an allergy or intolerance.
Cancellations, refunds and returns
Please see our Refund Policy. In short: fresh and perishable food is exempt from the usual 14 day cancellation right, but your rights in relation to faulty goods are unaffected, and we stand behind the quality of everything we make.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or for business losses, as this website is intended for consumers.
General
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
