There's nothing quite like a proper boiled egg for breakfast — and it all starts with a proper egg. Ours come from hens kept locally, free to roam and raised with care, producing eggs with deep golden yolks, firm whites, and that rich, full flavour that supermarket eggs simply can't match.
Fresh from the farm to our counter, these are eggs worth getting out of bed for.
Breakfast Ideas
- Soft Boiled Egg & Soldiers — 4–5 minutes in boiling water, golden yolk running, with thick buttered toast cut into strips. A perfect start to any morning.
- Hard Boiled Eggs — 8–10 minutes for a firm yolk. Slice over salads, pack in a lunchbox, or serve with a pinch of salt and a little mustard.
- Scrambled Eggs — low and slow in butter for the creamiest results. Serve on sourdough toast with a grind of black pepper.
- Poached Eggs — fresh eggs poach beautifully. Serve on toasted muffins with smoked bacon or wilted spinach.
- Full English — fried in a little butter alongside our sausages and bacon for the breakfast that earns its reputation.
